Add website - Wordpress.com

This guide is for websites using the WordPress platform directly on WordPress.com

If you downloaded WordPress from wordpress.org and installed it yourself, you should use the AIKTP plugin and skip this guide

The procedure consists of 2 steps: create an app and connect AIKTP to the newly created app.

If you haven't created an account on wordpress.com you will need to create one

If you already have an account you will see the following screen. Click the "Create New Application" button

Next you will fill in the information for the App to be created. It includes

Name: Post from AIKTP

Description: Application for posting from AIKTP

Website: https://aiktp.com

Redirect URLS: https://aiktp.com/callback/wordpress.php

Type: Web

The most important information here is the Website and Redirect URLS; you can copy them exactly into

Then you complete it and will receive a table like the following

In this table you only need to note: Client ID and Client Secret. These two pieces of information will be used to enter into AIKTP

In AIKTP, click on WordPress.com or click the direct link below.

Then click the "Add WordPress App" button and add the two pieces of information Client ID and Client Secret from the previous step into

After clicking the "Add App" button a screen will appear requesting permission confirmation

On the permission confirmation screen click the "Approve" button to agree

After you agree the system will return to the add domain page. Click to add the domain from WordPress.com into AIKTP

Select the websites you want to add to AIKTP; you can add multiple websites at once

After adding you will see the following message indicating completion

Now you can post to websites on wordpress.com using aiktp.com
