Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://docs.aiktp.com/booster/channels/threads.md). # Threads ### Feature Description Posting to your **Threads account** allows you to automatically share content from **AIKTP** directly to **Threads** — including text, images, original article links, and hashtags. **Goals:** * Increase organic traffic to your website. * Build high-quality backlinks. * Keep your Threads profile active with fresh and engaging content. Since **Threads** is a product of **Meta**, you’ll need to create a **Facebook App** to obtain an **Access Token** that allows AIKTP to post on your behalf. ### **Ways to Connect Your Threads Account to AIKTP** You can choose one of the following two connection methods based on your preference: 1. **Connect via System App** – The simplest way, using AIKTP’s officially approved App 2. **Connect via Your Own App** – A more advanced method that gives you full control over your App and account ### **Connect via System App** To connect AIKTP with your Threads account, simply click: **Connect Threads Account With System App**. at Booster -> Channel or link
After clicking the button, you’ll be asked to **grant permission** for the App to post content on your Threads account.
Once you’ve completed the verification, your Threads account will appear in the **AIKTP Channels** list.
If you have multiple Threads accounts, you can connect them one by one.\ AIKTP supports multiple connections, allowing you to post to several Threads accounts at once. #### **Ready to Post!** From now on, you can: * Click **Boost Now** to publish posts to your Threads accounts * Or access directly at: * Enter your post content and click **Start Boosting** AIKTP will automatically rewrite your content to fit the Threads format, add hashtags and backlinks, and post it to your Threads account — all with just **one click**.
*** ### **Create Your Own App and Connect** If you prefer to create your own App, follow the steps below.\ Threads is a Facebook product, so you’ll need to **create a Facebook App** to obtain an **Access Token** for connection. **Step 1: Go to the Facebook Developer Portal** 1. Open your browser and visit . 2. Log in using your **personal Facebook account** (the same account linked to your Threads profile). > Since this is **your own Facebook App**, all tokens and access permissions remain **completely private and secure**.\ > The system uses your app **only to post on your behalf** — no one else can access or use it.\ > This ensures **safety, privacy, and long-term stability** for automated posting. > > If you no longer wish to use it, you can simply **delete the app**. **Step 2: Create a New App** Click **“My Apps” → “Create App.”**
**Fill in the details:** * **App Name:** e.g. `AIKTP Threads Booster` * **App Contact Email:** your email address * Click **Next**
**Use Cases:** Select **Access the Threads API** — this allows posting to Threads.
**Business:** Choose your business or select *“I don’t want to use a business account.”* Then click **Next.**
**Requirements:** Continue by clicking **Next.**
**Overview:** Finally, click **Go to Dashboard** to complete app creation.
#### **Step 3: Configure URL and Permissions** To enable posting, go to **Use Cases**
and add the necessary permission by clicking **Add:** > threads\_content\_publish
Then go to **Settings** and enter the following: > After adding it to **Redirect Callback URLs**, click **Save Changes.**
Once saved, you’ll get two key pieces of information: * **Threads App ID** * **Threads App Secret**
Copy these values, then go to:\ 👉 Select **Threads**, enter the **App ID** and **App Secret**, then click **Save & Connect.**
After saving the app details, click **Connect Account to App.**
You’ll be asked to **confirm and verify permissions.**
Once confirmed, your Threads account will appear in the **AIKTP channel list.** If you manage multiple Facebook or Threads accounts, you can add them later from your **Facebook App management dashboard.**
### Ready to Post! Now you can: * Go to **“Boost Now”** or visit * Enter the content you want to post * Click **Start Boosting** AIKTP will automatically: * Rewrite your content to fit Threads’ style * Add hashtags and a link to the original article * Post it to your Threads account — all with **just one click**.
