# Mastodon

#### Feature Description

AIKTP Booster allows you to post directly from the **AIKTP system** to your **Mastodon account**.

**Key features:**

* Post directly from AIKTP to your Mastodon account.
* Support for **multiple accounts** and **different Mastodon servers** (e.g. `mastodon.social`, `vmst.io`, `mstdn.jp`, etc.).
* Automatically **rewrite your content using AI** to better suit each platform.
* Save your **boost history**, including posting **status** (success / error), and allow **reposting** if needed.

### **Ways to Connect Your Mastodon Account to AIKTP**

You can choose one of the following two connection methods based on your preference:

1. **Connect via System App** – The easiest method, using AIKTP’s officially approved App
2. **Connect via Your Own App** – A more advanced option that lets you fully manage your own App and account

### Connect via System App

To connect AIKTP with your Mastodon account, simply create or log in to your Mastodon account on a supported instance at link <https://aiktp.com/en/booster/channels>

Then click **Connect Account With System App**.<br>

You’ll be redirected to the Mastodon authorization page for your selected instance.<br>

Click **Authorize** to allow AIKTP to post content to your Mastodon account.

Once you grant permission, your Mastodon account will appear in your **AIKTP Channels** list.

#### **Ready to Post**

You’re now ready to publish posts to Mastodon!

* Go to **Boost Now** or visit <https://aiktp.com/booster/boost-now>
* Write your post content
* Select **Mastodon** as the target platform
* Click **Start Boosting** to post

AIKTP will automatically rewrite your content to fit the Mastodon format, add hashtags and backlinks, and publish it — all with a single click.

### Connect via Your Own App

If you prefer not to use the System App, you can create your own Mastodon App and connect it manually.\
This allows you to manage all API credentials and permissions directly from your Mastodon instance.

Each **Mastodon server (domain)** runs independently, so you’ll need to create an app **on the same server where your account is registered**.

#### Step 1: Log in to Your Mastodon Server

Examples of Mastodon servers:

* <https://mastodon.social>
* <https://vmst.io>
* <https://techhub.social>

For example, if your chosen server is [**https://mastodon.social**](https://mastodon.social), you can create an account by visiting:\
👉 <https://mastodon.social/auth/sign_up>

After registering and verifying your email, proceed to the next step.

#### Step 2: Create a New Application&#x20;

Visit your server’s app settings page, e.g.:\

Then click **“New application”** (or **“Create new app”**).

Fill in the details:

* **Application name:** `AIKTP Booster`
* **Redirect URI:**

  ```
  https://aiktp.com/callback/booster/mastodon.php
  ```
* **Scopes:**\
  ✅ read\
  ✅ write\
  ✅ profile

Click **Save changes** to finish.

#### **Step 3: Get Connection Details**

After saving, you’ll see two important values:

* **Client ID**
* **Client Secret**

Copy these two values and paste them into the **connection form** in AIKTP Booster.

Save the settings to complete the connection.

#### Ready to Post

You’re now ready to post on Mastodon!

Go to **Boost Now** or visit:\
👉 <https://aiktp.com/booster/boost-now>

Write your post, select **Platform: Mastodon**, and click **Start Boosting**.

AIKTP will automatically rewrite your content to fit Mastodon’s format and publish it to your connected accounts.

Mastodon has **tens of thousands of servers**, and you can create multiple accounts across different ones for wider reach.\
