# Add website - LinkedIn To add a LinkedIn platform posting profile to AIKTP, go to the AIKTP -> Website menu or quickly click the link Then click the "**Add Website**" button, in the popup that appears choose the LinkedIn platform
Then click "**Next**" to proceed with adding **LinkedIn**
> Note: LinkedIn only allows posting from an application to a Page. You cannot post to a personal profile. Therefore you need to create two things: an App and a Page. > > * A LinkedIn App is similar to a Facebook App. > > * A LinkedIn Page is like a Facebook Fanpage ### Guide to creating a LinkedIn App To create a LinkedIn App, go to and click Create App
Fill in the App information
{% hint style="info" %} If you don't have a LinkedIn Page yet, you need to create one. If you already have a LinkedIn Page you only need to provide the page URL {% endhint %} After creating the app, you need to request the Share on LinkedIn permission by clicking the Request Access button
Requesting the Share on LinkedIn permission allows you to post to a LinkedIn page.
After completing the permission request, click the Auth tab and the pencil icon
In the "Authorized redirect URLs for your app" field enter the following 2 links: ``` // the following 2 links https://aiktp.com/callback/linkedin.php https://www.linkedin.com/developers/tools/oauth/redirect ``` The result after adding will look like this:
Next you need to create a Token by clicking the link **OAuth 2.0 Tools**
On the next screen, click the **Create Token**
Next, select the Select Scopes: w\_member\_social option and click Request Token
Next, LinkedIn will ask you to log in and confirm
Click the Allow button to confirm
After confirming, you will receive a token; copy this token to paste back into aiktp.com
Return to the AIKTP screen () and paste the token into the Access Token field.
In addition to the access token, you need to add the LinkedIn Company URL which is the Company URL you used when creating the app
Then click the **Verify** button to check and confirm posting permissions. {% hint style="info" %} According to LinkedIn's rules, the Access Token will expire after 60 days, so after 60 days you need to create a new Access Token. You only need to recreate the Access Token, you do not need to recreate the App. {% endhint %}
